Climbing a Mountain (University)
The Challenge
How do you educate people on new technology? Once customers start using your technology, how can you ensure they have the knowledge they need to succeed? And how do you scale learning as the company grows?

In this project, I was tasked to build an external learning platform from scratch with a small team of designers and a project manager. Originally built for a subset of customers, the learning platform was eventually released to all customers, with some content available to prospects as well.

Work Samples from MNTN U
A glimpse from one of the courses, which I helped develop in Rise in addition to scripting and video work. Check out the public-facing MNTN University to review all courses available to prospective customers.

Video defining a primary concept behind the company and its product offerings, Performance Television. I scripted, narrated, screencast, and edited the video.

Landing page for one of MNTN U's certification offerings. I designed the cert structure, wrote much of the content while collaborating closely with product marketing, and wrote/designed the 30-question exams associated with each certification.

Impact
MNTN University has provided both internal and external audiences access to self-paced learning about the industry, the company's product offerings, platform training and strategic recommendations.
The launch of a fully public-facing learning platform supports the onboarding of a scaled customer base as the company grows, is used to train new employees on the company, and supports the marketing function by extending the brand's thought leadership further into the field of learning.

As the usage and exposure of MNTN University expands, the company continues to explore ways to utilize the platform, bringing in webinars, sales resources, and more. I'm excited to see how this "university" evolves in the coming years.
